This is one of two identical units purchased off-market from a private seller who didn’t want to deal with unruly tenants anymore. Both were in terrible shape. The tenants of this unit were heavy smokers and had many cats. The place was filthy and smelled terribly. Ultimately, we were able to extinguish the strong smells. We did the same renovation on both units and because we had renovated many assets in the area, we knew it would be a quick project with great upside.
