This hoarder’s home was hard to inspect upon initial walk-thru due to all of the items piled in the home. Had this property been purchased one day later, it would have gone into foreclosure and negatively affected the owners’ credit. It was another mutually beneficial real estate transaction.
Due to the living conditions of the residents, it required significant clean-up but did have great bones. Ultimately, the rehab consisted of changing the layout to make it flow smoothly and highlight the large bay window at the side of the house. By adding another bedroom and bathroom, we were able to make it a more functional house. It turned out to be a perfect 3 bedroom 2 bathroom starter home for the new young buyers.
